Hello there, I upgraded the BA free version to an paid version without any probelms but since I use the regular version I get daily Internal Server Errors on all sites wich are on the same server.
The guy from the hosting wrote back to me that the optimize table query running and locking up my databases.
I am not 100% shure if BA causes the problem but since the upgrade the server errors started.
Regrads,

hi there, can't understand you exactly?
BA is software that just posts to blogs, it can't cause them to get 500 errors or other errors. You should look for the problem in the script that operates those sites/blogs.
There is optimize table query in BA, but it is only for its own database, not for the rest, and it can't cause 500 errors, but mysql errors.. _________________ Thanks,

Kaktusan, thank you for the information. I am happy to hear that I can exclude BA. I am fighting already 1 week to get this problem under control.

the internal server error 500 is regularly caused by a not valid .htaccess file, or from wron file permissions if your host has enabled some kind of security which doesn't like certain file perms.. _________________ Thanks,

ok, thanks. strange is that before everything worked well, also the BA makes still a good job. i think if a .htaccess file is not valid or the permissions are wrong i would had the problem from the beginning.
what makes me worry is that even the guy from the host don't find any reason for these server errors. fact is that every day from time to time about 100 of my blogs are down. i am not very familiar with all that database and server stuff, hopefully the host guys will find something soon.

i have the following problem now with BA. it works well until i want add, execute, or change something. than the page is loading and loading and mostly i get than a server error and it blocks my whole server account. i checked that today a lot of times always with the same result. like i wrote already, the problems started after i upgraded BA to the payed version.
is there something what i could made wrong during the upgrade process? |

well, yes, if your server is overloaded or something like that, it is normal to get that behaviour in BA or in any other script or page at your server.
There is no upgrade between a free and paid version, its just a license key insert, nothing else - no changes, nothing..
if you wish you can stop using BA for some days, stop its cronjobs and see what happens with your server. But i am sure, the whole thing is not from BA. _________________ Thanks,

please understand that i have to check all possibilities because i want to get rid of the errors as soon as possible.
i changed my mysql database password and i don't found a file where i can change it in the BO and BA scripts. please let me know where i can change it or do you have to do it on your server?

yes, sure i understand, i am just telling you what you could do to verify whether the problem is from BA
about changing your database infos, you can do it in:
BA - info.inc.php
BO - boinfo.inc.php _________________ Thanks,
