Hi,
I am testing the free version of BA. I cannot seem to add the free host Wordpress blogs. I keep getting this message:
Blog Returned: Sorry, you do not have access to user data on this blog.
I have several old Wordpress free blogs. I put in the username and
password of these blogs, then choose Wordpress (free blog host) as blog type but no luck.
I searched the forum but could not find any answers about this.

hi there, i think you need to activate remote blogging feature at your wordpress account. Look at the settings there and enable it.

Hmm...I seem to be blind today, cannot find the setting to turn remote blogging anywhere.  |

OK, I just added the wordpress blog using the metawebblog api. If anyone know how to turn on remote blogging for wordpress free host, please let me know. |

hm, no you should use Wordpress.com as blog type when adding the blog. Just went myself to search in wordpress.com where the activation was, but can't find it either.
Tell me, when you are adding your user/pass are you typing your admin details for all blogs? You need to use your main user account and not a sub account.

hi there, yeah just tested with my wordpress details and i got the same error message as you. Looks like they changed something recently and i will need to try to figure it out and make changes in BA.
Great that it works with metaweblog api.

why are you using wordpress hosted blogs?
they dont allow adult and will be removed tomorrow.
