i've got a problem when i installed the program and got this message " Could not connect to MySQL Server: Access denied for user 'user'@'localhost'. how to solve this problem?Anyone can help me please...

hi there, thats a normal mysql problem. You are not providing correct mysql details at the install form, so with them you can't login to the mysql. Make sure you use correct details.

what this means and how to solve it?thanks

hm, again there is some problem with the mysql, one of the queries to it gets failed. What version your mysql is? Also where exactly you get that error? At the install screen or elsewhere? Also any other message? It is should say the exact error after the "Query to MySQL Failed:"

my version of mysql is 4.1.22 standard and i've got that error when i install that rocket pinger.No more error after that message.The page before i got that error is under rp-install.php which fill all the settings up working and that is the lastest error i've got.Thanks for your response

hm, then it should be fine, i don't see any problem with the mysql version.

ok.. now, after you installed it, are you getting any errors in the admin panel or something? If no, then it should work normally and you can use it.

Before i fill the form under rp-install.php page will i add a database name and user with password first on mysql?If that so, i just did that and that was the error that i recieved..."Failed To Query Mysql".Will try delete and make a new database name.thanks

yes, before you fill the install form, you need to have your mysql database, user,pass ready. so you just go and fill the form. If you are using cpanel at your host, take in mind that after you create the database and make user/pass, you need to assign all priviledges of the user for the database..
