I had problems using RSS feeds but decided to wait for the 2.1 upgrade.
However results are the same; only the text within the feeds is displayed on the generated blog pages without any pics or links. Sometimes the link code in a feed is displayed as pure text.
I used the feeds from Spookycash and OCcash which work just fine on other systems.

I cant get the OC Cash feeds to work either with the same problem as above, I haven't tried spookycash. I thought it was just the way I was setting it up.

The feeds from Realsexcash work fine though.

well, it all depends how the feeds are setup themselves. Take a note that the xml parse for BO is doing exactly this:
title from the rss feed is used for title of the post.
description from the feed is used for body of the post
link from the rss feed is getting replaced by the new variable %%RSS_LINK%% so it can be included anywhere in the post.

So if the rss feed is setup in this way, thats fine, but if the sponsors don't include the necessary info in the description, title and link tags in the xml rss feed the things won't get posted properly. Anyways i will be trying to improve the rss feed reader and parser, just for now its made the way that the most common format is used. Anyways there are tons of possibilities with the rss fields, and that needs lots of coding and time to get them covered..

Yes each has his own way creating a feed but i'm sorry to say that the BO RSS import is useless like this. I just tried feeds from Upperclassvideo and APC and again all i get is lines of plain text.
Then i tried the Nubiles feed and was happy to see pictures, but..... not a single line of text was imported this time only pics and no links.
All the feeds i use work perfect on a service like Rss2anywhere, never had one not working here.
Can BO work with Rss2anywhere? There is a way to add other servers than thumblogger there but i have'nt managed to get it work with BO yet.

well, yes, I am aware of that and as i said in my previous post, the rss feeds aggregator system in BO will be improved, it won't stay as it is.

As for now, you can still achieve results with most of your feeds.
As I said, the title is put in title, the description is put in body and the link is replaced by %%RSS_LINK%%
so..

I don't know how you did it with Nubiles for example, but just went and grabbed some of their rss feeds, and here's the result:
http://www.sexhopes.com/bo/boblogs/blog7.php

Everything is fine.

I used this feed:
http://www.nubiles.net/webmasters/promo/promofeed.php?coupon=889317&t=thumb110&o=text&days=7

Also take a note they provide and a feed in the format:

"RSS2Blog Feed (all content in <description> tag:
http://www.nubilesblog.com/rss2blogfeed.php?coupon=889317
"

Thats the most preferable format BO likes.

Anyways for any other feeds that might not work, there is still workaround you can do with BO. For example lets say from a feed you just get a text or image not linked to anywhere. Then just in your blog "posts template", define the body linked to the rss_link. Like:
a href='%%RSS_LINK%%'>%%BODY%%</a>
And your unlinked text/image will be linked properly..

Let me know if you have any more problems.

Mate, i just can't wait for the super important upgrade !!!!

I got at least 80% of the feeds i'm using not showing up reflinks Crying or Very sad
You can see it's working fine but just missing a thing or 2
For instance, cybernetbucks won't show the reflinks but you do see the small preview clips along some sale's pitch text. It misses the best part which is the REFCODE Laughing

Anyways, send us an email when it's done. I'm eager to work it out !

hmm, where are they putting in the links? BO is extracting them from the <link> tag from the RSS feed.

TGS, can you please pm me a list with as many as possible non working feeds, so i can try to make the feeder as perfect as possible!

and did you upgraded to v2.1?

Thanks!
