Hello, I am checking your Blogs Automater free version and I got a problem. Installation was fine and everything worked well until i added a feed url. The script add the feed but don't import the entries. I tried that now with four different sponsor feed url's and got always the same result "Inserted, OK (Imported 0 entries)".
What I made wrong or is that a cronjob problem again?
Regards,
shogun. |

which package of the script you have installed? The one for zend 3.0 or higher, or for older ones?
If you installed the for 3.0 an higher, then thats the problem. For some reason on certain hosts it gives some problems, and as long as i remember 99% of the people who reported the same problem like yours was that the problem. So just reinstall the script with the package for older zends.
If thats not the problem or it doesn't fixes you, let me know.. _________________ Thanks,

Thanks Atanasis, yes you are right, I installed the zend 3.0 or higher version because the server check script told me that. I will delete it and loadup the other zend version.
By the way, that is a fantastic softwaer, very useful!

Another solution is that I have noticed this happens mostly on blogger feeds. Trying to take off the last part of the feed or looking for an rss2.0 feed will generally fix it.
example:
if the feed is something like:
www.domain.com/feed/default
Take off the /default and it may work.
There are a lot of feeds out there so you may not want to take the time to do this but I have done it with a few of mine because they are quality feeds. |
