there;s no reason a script or anything else would not recognize it.. if you have added the proper recip in LO and it appear at the site, then anyone can find it there.. maybe you are mistaking something there..check again
till now no problems with linkex were reported, so for sure it is not from both scripts..
if can't fix it, pm me details..
