I am trying to insert a script into my posts in blogorganizer. The script is for an embedded flash video. The code is Code: | <script src="http://gayxxxrated.com/blogs/video.php?id=MjoyOjQ&v=bangingzackraw-1-1"></script> |
I tried to enter this via the "Edit HTML Source" button when creating a new post, but it just deletes it and replaces it with a nbsp code. I also tried using the "Embedded Media" option, chosing flash and using just the URL but this does not work either.
Inserting this code into other types of blogs works perfectly (eg, wordpress). Am I doing something wrong? Or is this not supported in BO? If its not supported, can I pay someone to code it to get it supported?
thanks,
Luke |

looks like another bug in the graphical editor.. should be looking at it too.
as for now, just disable the advanced editor from "General Settings->WYSIWYG Settings" and then go and add that code to your posts. It should be no problemable.. _________________ Thanks,

Thank you for the very quick response!
That solution worked for the post itself, but the script objects are not showing up in the RSS feed (I have the affiliate module installed).
FYI, my site is http://mygaymovies.com |

well, in the blog edit screen, do you have "RSS Feeds Style" to advanced?
Also i think movies don't play in the feeds, if you read the feed through a blog script and display it as post, it should be fine. _________________ Thanks,

Yes I have RSS Feeds Style set to advanced. I think you are correct, I did a "view source" on the RSS feed page and the script object shows up, it just does not show up in the feed as displayed in firefox.
Looks like all is rocking now!
thanks for your help. |

yep, just before you go live with the feed, test it on a blog. Set a blog to read from that feed and see if the movie will be fine on the blog.. _________________ Thanks,
