Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I'm still learning how to use these amazing scripts.

I'm wondering how to insert Post Titles/Links into a page outside of the blog.

My main page is:
http://MyDomain.com

My Blog page is:
http://MyDomain.com/blog/

So I want to put a list of the ten most recent blog posts (titles/links) on the Main page: http://MyDomain.com ...not the blog page. Can this be done?

Thank you!

hi there, there are no dumb questions Smile

well, no you can't include things outside the blog, directly.
You can use the blog rss feed and put it in rss readers that displays the things like you want on your main page or elsewhere.

Hmmm. Thank you Atanasis. Can you give me an example of such an RSS reader that you mentioned? At first I thought you meant something like Blogs Automater, but now I know that won't do it either.

Please consider adding this feature to BO for the future. I'm not a coder, but I think it would be pretty easy to pull the last "X" number of post titles/links from the database and then use a PHP include to insert them into any page on any site. I would love, love, love that.

Thank you again, and if you have any ideas on a RSS reader, I'd love to know about it. Smile

yeah i could do something like that in the future.

well, no Blogs Automater isn't for that, it is for posting as posts.

You just need to dig some free php script that reads a feed and display it as html. I never used such, but i know there are lots of free ones out there..
