Hello dear valued users,
I am sorry to inform you I have found a serious problem with the files of the recently released v3.4 version of Blogs Organizer.
If you have already upgraded to v3.4 please read the whole thread. If you haven't upgraded yet, you have nothing to worry about!
The problem we have found consists of a problem with the cronjobs. On certain servers they will not run. This is due to the newest zend encoder we used to encode the files for this version of the software. It is nothing critical, nor it is security leak or something like that. Just one system variable we use inside the cronjobs is not available and that would cause the cronjobs not to run.
SOLUTION
Everyone who has upgraded to v3.4, please grab the upgrade package from the site again, unpack and upload all files in BINARY mode. You can skip the "bo-upgrade.php" file, you don't need to upload it or run it, since your mysql database is up to date.
After doing that, wait a minute or two and check your system events to see if the cronjobs run normally.
I am extremely sorry for this issue! If you have any problems upgrading your files, you can send me a pm with your url and pass to BO admin and ftp access and i will fix your install immediately! If you have any other problems, let me know again and i will help you immediately!
