you should use this option from the start of your blog depending would you be feeding it with new content, or just want to put it on autopilot and have the posts reappear. For example it is pretty good in schema like this:
Import 60 posts and schedule them to appear one per day. And set the resubmission interval to 61 days. So each post will appear each day, and after 61 days when all posts get posted, the first one will start resubmitting and again each post will appear each day.
If you already have posts in your blog that are older than the resubmission days interval you think on setting, all older ones will be republished at once. So be careful if you enable resubmitting on established blog..
