I am trying to remote post to Wordpress MU.
Source of the blog post is something like this (from Blogs Organizer):

The image is broken on the blog and the Error I get from the Wordpress MU installation is this:
mod_rewrite: maximum number of internal redirects reached. Assuming configuration error.
any ideas? |

| BTW, is tiny_mce supposed to behave like this? ie. look at the image url it produces when it does a publish. |

on different hosts tinymce makes the images links different ways. To make it work i have made BO to replace the image urls when its publishin the post.
Can you tell me when you open your WPMU blog, and do view source, what url you see for the image?
Also i don't know about the max redirects problem? Where you get that?
Might be best to pm me url and pass to your BO admin and url to your wpmu blog so i can look and resolve issue faster..

The code I posted is what I see in WP MU. I've also tested this with Drupal and get the same.
If I add a link to the image to a specific URL within the BO/tinymce editor I notice the same code show up in the html.

Oh there is no problem if you just post an image. But try link that image or even any other text in the body of the post. There is a formating problem that WP MU doesn't like.  I hope there is a fix soon.

Tried the upgrade too. However, there is no problem posting simple text or an image. But once you put in URLs . WP MU won't accept the post.

just replied to your email and did some test and all they went fine. Don't see any problems inserting images, links and etc..

Still a problem with "complex" URL's. Wish we can find a solution.
What do I mean by "complex URL's"?

there is nothing complex in that url.. there are lots more complicated looking urls.. just tested with this url and its fine as you can see it here

Go and test with your BO to publish to some other blogs than your WPMU install. I told you there is something wrong with it, since i am able to post all your problemable posts to everywhere else except your wpmu install.
