I did the upgrade and it was fast and easy as usual. everything look fine.
I have a problem with the new option: Archive Pages. Out of the box, the Archive Pages is set to 0 and because of that all the blogs do not show all the older posts after page one. It repeats the same posts as page one, over and over. I have to manually change the Archive Pages n° from 0 to the number of posts I have on each blog. (20 in my case) to have the blogs like they were before.
It's not a major problem, but I have a shitload of blogs and since the Archive Pages set up is not in the mass blog setting, it turns into a major hassle....Maybe put the archive pages command in the mass blog setting for next upgrade?
as for the New Posts Count. WHat is the number for infinite post? I put 20 to be sure, even if I have way less daily post than that. Is 0 will work? _________________ May the biz be with ya

hi there, sorry for the inconvenience.
As i looked now in the upgrade file, yes i forgot to set the new field for the archives to contain some value greater than 0. I set it now to 5, so should be fine to others who upgrade. Thanks for informing me on this.
As about the "new posts count" of the rss feeders settings, there is no longer infinite value. I decided to secure everybody to enter exact amount of new posts being published per rss feed crawl. I have noticed lots of people are leaving it just to 0 and load lots of feeds and stuff and then problems start... some start complaining nothing new is being posted on their blogs, cronjobs take really long time to complete, server overloads and lots such stuff.
Generally, there is no need to set more than 1-2 new posts count per feed crawl. Better is to have more frequent crawl period and less posts, rather than long crawl period and lots of new posts..
Hope you understand what i mean.. _________________ Thanks,
