Do you have issues regarding BO and server loads ?
I'm asking you guys along kaktusan by the way.
You see, i'm on a dedicated
512Mb of memory..
Intel Celeron
80Gb HDD
I don't burn a lot of bandwidth on this one, around 300gigs/month and i have around 320 domains and sub-domains on it.
I was getting "too many connections" Mysql bugs (max connection is now set to over 8000) and now it starting to overload here and there.
Anykind of inputs appreciated

well, 512 mb is pretty little for a server, dedicated boxes are worth with atleast 1GB of ram...
anyways, are all those 320 subdomains all managed by BO? How much rough total daily traffic your whole box receives. Also what exactly gets overloaded? any particular daemon like mysql, apache or what exactly?
Also do you have some other scripts on the same server than can be affecting performance too?

Ok i didn't push the investigation a lot but to give you a quick update,
no the domains and sub-domains are not all managed by BO but around 75% are so maybe...
Anyways, i have now updated to 1gigram
I'll keep you posted  |
