huh, thats pretty strange. Such problem existed in the very first version of Blogs Organizer and it was long time ago fixed, and i suppose you are using latest version of script, right?

Well, the only thing that comes up to my mind is that it might be like that if you have the cronjobs twice, but that again shouldn't cause duplicates.

Can you please pm me url and pass of your BO admin, so i can take a look around..

I've had this problem, too. I've actually had some scheduled posts, show up 10 to 15 times consecutively. I've simply been manually deleting them when I notice it. Cron, and everything seems fine, and it happens very rarely, so I never bothered posting about this. But since someone else had the issue...

hmm, so there should be problem somewhere.. i look on code and stuff today and all looks as it should be..

can someone give me more details like how you added the posts - manually or bulk. have you been changing something on them after you have added them.. something that might help me locate the possible leak..do you remember doing something that you usually don't do with your rest posts and etc..

Thanks!

Hmm, I cant remember if I did anything different when I made the post, although I do remember during that time, since I was creating multiple post right after another and scheduling them, I did add the wrong picture on a couple post, and re-added the new picture, also i did preview a couple, but thats about it.

Edit: Thinking harder, I remembered, that I did change the schedule date, on like two post, since I had scheduled them for the wrong date. Don't remember if it was the post that posted twice tho.

It has only happened on posts that I bulk imported. I imported the posts and set them to add consecutively. To the best of my knowledge I don't remember changing anything or doing anything differently. It would just happen that one of the scheduled posts would show up more than once, but still on the same day. Funny thing though, the posts would show up more than once on the actual blog page, but in the manage posts admin area it would only be there once.

I wish I hadn't deleted the posts so that you could take a look. I'll check my blogs to see if it has since happened again.

Hey Atanasis, I'm having the same problem here. Started 4 new blogs, scheduled multiple posts to autopost 1-3 days apart (never more than 3 though) and set the "Resubmit Posts" to 5. Came back a few days later to find out that a number of my posts were resubmitted, often resulting in multiple posts being posted the same day.

I can flip you the login/pwd info if you'd like - let me know. Txs.

ok, seems to work fine now..

please, download the upgrade package from the site, upgrade your script as usual - upload and run bo-upgrade.php... that should prevent on happening the duplicate problem again. To remove the dups that are listed already, just delete the posts from your admin panel.

After you do this, watch out the script for the next couple of days, and please notify me if its okay or if duplicating again..

Thanks!

not for now..

The problem, seems to appear on pretty rare and still unknown conditions, i think i find one thing that might be causing it, but still unsure if thats it. I just did some fixing and results are good so far.

After little more time, everyone can upgrade Smile
