If I build a "static" (one-off, no updates) feed with say a hundred items, add it to a blog in BO and set New Posts Count to eg. the default five, what happens when it crawls the feed in the future and finds no updates?
Will it see that there are still, on the second crawl, 95 unused items left, pick five of those and then continue in that fashion until all of them have been used (which is what I'm hoping, and assume it does), or does it conclude that the feed hasn't been updated since the last time and and happily ignores those remaining unused items since they aren't "new" since the first crawl? |

no matter if you have actual "new" entries in the feed, script crawls each time the feed and looks for uninserted entries to the BO database. So if your feed is built with 100 entries, on 1st crawl BO will pick 5, on 2nd crawl rest 5 and etc.. till it picks all 100 entries, and from then it won't post anything new from that feed if it doesn't updated with new entries..
Hope that explains things for you _________________ Thanks,
