When ever I create a new blog, I can never just download the zip with all the pages. I have to copy and paste the code into each page by hand.
I'm able to download zips everywhere else, just not in BO.
Can this be fixed?
Thanks, Kamilla |

yeah i think we have discussed this issue with you in the past as long as i remember. The deal is that the zips work just fine, and only for you they fail and i have no idea why it could be and i have no clue what can i change to make it working. Have you tried from another PC to download one zip and see if it will work? _________________ Thanks,

Yes, we did, and I belive I recalled you said that a few others experienced similar issues. That's why I posted here. I still have this issue and wanted to see if any others did too.
I do not have another computer up and running so I can't test. I don't have any other feedback other than I get a warning box saying corrupted. So I don't know if this can be fixed on my end.
If anyone has had a similar issue and got it fixed, please post how you did it.
Thanks |

yes, there were 2-3 people in the time, that had such problems, but as long as i remember one of them found the problem, that his isp was doing some antivirus checks on all archives and that was corrupting the archive. When he tried from another ISP it all worked. The other one installed the latest winzip version and it worked.
I don't know what might be the problem on your end, coz i am downloading and extracting properly the zips from your install. Well, another workaround might be if you ask your host support to install the "ftp" library for php, and you will be able directly to ftp the files from the admin panel to the blog location, so you won't need to download and upload anything.
Let me know.. _________________ Thanks,

I tinkered around a bit and found that if I instead use winrar as my default zip, it works!
This will make setting up new blogs sooo much easier. |
