I installed LO a couple of weeks ago on my server, and during the installation the script successfully added the following line to my cron file:
0 * * * * /usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/www/kris/mydomain.com/htdocs/lo/locron.php >> /dev/null
(where 'mydomain.com' would be replaced with the real name of my domain of course)
However, on my LO home page I still see: Linkchecker Last Run: 0000-00-00 00:00:00
Any idea what might be going wrong here? |

well, it seems like for some reason that cronjob can't be executed. First make sure you have the linkchecker enabled in the initial settings. then you might want to pass the cronjob to your host support and ask why it won't execute. And third make sure you have the PHP Curl Library enabled.
Let me know if you need more help.. _________________ Thanks,

Well, I have just doublechecked and I did have linkchecker enabled in my settings.
I will ask my host support people why that cron doesn't run and whether I have PHP Curl Library enabled.
However, the thing is that I have also Blog Organizer installed on that same server and same domain, and those crons (which were also generated during the script installation) seem to run without any problem. Here are the latest results:
2007-04-07 03:05:01 BO RSS Feeder executed
2007-04-07 03:05:01 BO Remote Updater executed
2007-04-07 03:05:01 BO Updater executed successfully
2007-04-07 03:05:01 BO Remote Updater executed
2007-04-07 03:04:00 BO Remote Updater executed
2007-04-07 03:03:01 BO Remote Updater executed
2007-04-07 03:02:00 BO Remote Updater executed

Just a quick update on this... Apparently, that cron should be fixed and running now.
My host support made it run first in ssh, and it worked fine just as it was (and also triggered the corresponding email report once finished).
However, the cron line was generated under 'www', whereas I had all my other crons under 'kris' on the server.
Therefore, they decided to put it with the other crons under 'kris' and set it to run shortly after that. And that seemed to have done the job |
