I need to understand how the program understand items in an RSS feed with more than one days data and then how it adds the posts in what order.

Lets say I have a feed that by default contains 20 items (and there is no way to limit that) and that spans say the last 5 days.

So for discussion sake, there are 20 items from the last 5 days in the feed with various amounts of items per day. 4 on one day, 2 on another, 5 on another, and so on to make up the last 20 items in the feed.

Is there a way to make the reader only go one day back?

or start from the newest?

It appears the reader is getting the oldest post first and working forward instead of the newest? That way if the feed has 20 items or several days in it it will never make it tthe front and post the newest items.

Please help me understand this?

or ideas on how to change?

script reads the feed as is, then it reverses the entries, since the most bottom one have been added first to the feed..so BO reads in that order from last to newest. Script can't be made to read just X days back, since it will need to convert and check dates and things become more complicated. Note that script don't import duplicate entries, so when it starts reading from the oldest to newest it will come a time when it will read only the newest one..
