I have the trades output order set as Incoming Unique Hits but the output isnt sorting that way.

Here is the template and output file:
Code:

{tradelinkformat,~ <a href='{url}' title='{title}' target='blank'>{anchor}</a> - {descr}<br>}

<div id="topcol1">{trades,1-10}</div>
<div id="topcol2">{trades,11-20}</div>

http://www.askbrav.com/link-trades/site_templates/site_3_2.php

The one that should be at top is placed as #14 or so. Any ideas on how to get the sorting to work properly?

Thanks Smile

hi there, well, first are you sure you have placed the tracker code on the page where you output those trades, so that it will count incoming trade hits.

Also take a note, any trades that are "special" always go on top of the list.
Also take a note, that any trades that are currently "new" will always be on top of the list, until they break out of the "new" interval.

Let me know..

Yep, tracking code is in place, no trades are marked as special.

I bet its the "new" thing thats causing it. Thanks for the quick response Smile

BTW, great script.

I do have another newb question... Do the outputs update themselves automatically or do you need to manually click "rebuild templates" for it to update.

Or is there something I can add to cron to do that?

the output regenerates automatically when you add/delete trades from the site. Also it regenerates automatically if you have set the necessary cronjob and exactly if your ordering method is any of the following: sort by hits (raw or uniques) or randomized every X hours..
