I have created my first remote blog on Thumblogger. I have added the thumblogger service and account information, scanned my blogs and added one blog to BO - so I know my server can connect to TB. I have then added some posts manually using 'Blog Now'. The posts show up in BO as being added but they do not get posted to TB. When I go back to a post in BO and edit/update the post I get an error at the top of the page saying...
Choose Year
Choose Month
Choose Day
Choose Hour
Choose Minutes
...but there are no form fields for those values.
Any ideas? |

check if you have enabled remote blogging in your TB account..
as for the BO problem.. when the script asks for dates then you have probably added the post as scheduled, not for immediate publishing.. The date fields are on bottom of the form, just below the post body area.. _________________ Thanks,

OK, I think I figured it out. The cron job for borposter.php was set up to run once per day. I've changed it to every five minutes and the posts are now updating.
However, I have deleted a couple of test posts from BO and these still show up on the blog. Do posts deleted from BO get deleted from the blog or do you have to do that manually?
Regarding the dates, if the post has never been published you don't get to see the date fields when you edit the post, hence I could not change them or edit the unpublished post. |

hi there,
yes the cronjob needs to run more often as it published the posts..
BO is only publishing the posts to the remote blogs it does not do anything more - after the post is actually sent to the remote blog if you want to edit/delete it you need to do it from your blog admin.. _________________ Thanks,
