Hi Kaktusan,
I was editing the prune settings from 4 months to 1 month. I noticed the boinstats table didn't drop in size though. That table should've shrunk quite a bit in size right? Does it take time to shrink or something?

the pruner mechanism is trigerred at midnight only by the bocron.php cronjob
Thats why you didn't see the result immediately

Is there a way to do it manually? If I empty the boinstats table will the script still work?
I'm having problems at midnight with my VPS. So I'm trying to stop everything that doesn't need to be running.

yes, you can manually empty the tables - boinstats, boinkeywords and boiplogs

Also is there a way to not optimize tables every 9 minutes? Is it important to run that query?

no there is no way to stop the optimizing. It is good to have it running as it reduces the load on the mysql a lot
