You did advise me to use this URL format

somewebsite.com

instead of

http://www.somewebsite.com

I did that.

-------------------------------------

Now I have some multi sites with wordpress

Do I just add every site like

somewebsite.com/hornybitch
somewebsite.com/lookatme
somewebsite.com/getnaked

Just to make sure I understand it right

yes, when adding your sites in "General Settings->Approved Sites", always add your clean domain name, so that if you have blogs on that domain that are in subfolders or subdomains you don't need to add all of them, but just the main domain name

ok, but the sub-blogs are updated with different times with auto posting blogging in a wordpress 3 multisite setting and I added the ROCKET PINGER ping url in the "ping services" in every setting there.

so I I understand you right it is enough that I add the ping service
in the sub blogs themselves, but in your script I only keep the main
domain

somewebsite.com

because your script will automatically recognize those settings?

Then I will remove the sub URLs now from my approved sites list
and see if the pings will still show up (they did show up correctly today
after adding all the subdomains, so I will remove them now)

in your WP you add rpturbo.php as a ping service and your WP/WPMU will ping it each time a blog is updated. When you have the main domain where your WP/WPMU is installed in RP\s approved sites, RP will receive the ping and ping the blog..

ok, thanks for explaining
I have now only top domain in Rocket Pinger
and when new sub-blogs are created in the Multisite
Wordpress Environment I just make sure that every blog
has the correct PING URL in the settings there.

(please check your PM for an important update)
