GOOGLE SITEMAPS

Since v2.5 Blogs Organizer automatically creates google sitemaps for all your blogs.

If you need to put a link to the sitemap on your blogs, just use the %%GSITEMAP%% variable available in the blog main template. It will be replaced with the url of the sitemap.

Google sitemaps for your blogs can be directly located in url like:
http://www.yourdomain.com/yourblog/sitemap.xml.gz

Note: You might need to update your blog linking code files if your blog is using linking code files generated prior v2.5

MASS TEMPLATE APPLY

Since v2.5 Blogs Organizer can automatically apply a certain template to multiple blogs.

To accomplish this, just go to "Mass Blogs Settings->Template Change".
From the form there, select the template which you want to apply and select to which blogs it should be applied.

Note that the template list there is populated from your "Premade Templates" list.

Note that you will either have to regenerate your blogs manually or wait them to be autoregenerated, so the applied template be available on the blogs.

ACTIONS THAT REQUIRE LINKING FILES UPDATE

You need to update the linking files of your blog, in these cases:

- you changed your "Blog Directory URL" in the blog settings.
- you changed your "Blog Category" in the blog settings.
- you changed your "Posts Link Name" in the blog settings.
- you changed your "Sitemap Page Name" in the blog settings.

MAKING OPTIMIZED LINKS

To make your blog posts links the most SEO possible, you can tell the script to create the links based on the titles of your posts.

To accomplish that go to your blog settings and in the field "Post Link Name"
put just a variable %%TITLE%%

After that all your blog posts links will be converted to the new ones, but take in mind old links will work too!

Note If you change this field you will need to update your .htaccess linking code file!

POSTING TO CATEGORIES IN WORDPRESS

Since v2.5 Blogs Organizer can publish your posts in certain categories to your remote Wordpress blogs.

To accomplish this, you must add your Wordpress blogs as "Wordpress" type in "Remote Blogs->Services"

If you already have wordpress blogs added at the system with other "Service Type", you should change in your account settings the service type to "Wordpress". After that go to edit your wordpress blog, and click on "rescan categories" and hit update, so the script can scan and populate the list for the available categories for that blog.
