Hi, I put LO on shared account, and I can't get linkchecker working because of this error. I contacted hosting support, but they don't offer changing mysql timeouts for shared accounts. So I'm stucked now.
But, I got an idea, can you help me about it:
I will install mysql database on my local computer (XAMPP for example), import LO database in local MySQL, and to change info.inc.php to point on my local database (IP address of my computer, connected directly on ADSL).
But I can't make it work, can you suggest me how to manage it, hope it's possible? I removed the firewall for this purpose, but no help.
Is it possible somehow, I hope you understand my idea ?
thanks! |

ah i see, then there isn't much what we really can do..
what you could try is ask your host support what is the current mysql timeout value they use and in LO, "Settings->Configure", in the "Connect Timeout" field put that value minus lets say 5 seconds and run the linkchecker to see if it will work.. _________________ Thanks,
