When writing a post with the default editor (WYSIWYG turned off) this message appears:
Warning: Your post becomes too long! Prefered post length is 300 words!
Why this warning and why 300 words specifically? Can BO choke on posts bigger than this? |

i think i should remove that for next version.
3-4 Years back, there was a myth posts shouldn't be more than 300 words to have a good SEO value, and thats why i have put that.

I see, so it is a recommendation rather than a warning.
BTW you know something I really miss when writing posts over 300 words in BO? The possibility to save a draft.. you know, just in case something goes wrong and the post is totally lost. A new feature for a future release perhaps?  |
