Hi
Is there a way I can specify what category on my wordpress blog I want each remote post to go into? For example if I make a new remote post into my wordpress blog, is there a way I can insert it into the categories I want it to go on the wordpress blog?

well, there is no such option available 
This is not available not because BO is not qualified enough, not and because the WP is not qualified enough, but because the remote API which is used to post remotely to blogs, have no such feature to define in what category the post should go.
I've been trying to reach some WP tech guys to ask if there is such possibility or workaround, so i can implement it, but i have no luck till now. If you can ask somewhere is there a way in the remote API to define what category the post should go into WP, i will be more than glad to see it and implement it in BO.

yes either in uncategorized or in the default category of WP..
i am doing a research on the problem, and i think i see some light at the end of the tunnel..

okay, some update on this matter..
i found a workaround and i think i will be able to make you specify the WP category for your posts from BO. I will try making this feature in the upcoming new version...
