I've had this odd problem with only a couple posts a day posting and the others ignored or passed up.
my hosting (Servage) cPanel only allows monthly and daily cron jobs. I've been driving myself crazy trying to set my cron jobs to every minute with a SSH client but I really don't know what I'm doing.
I was getting really frustrated until, just a few minutes ago I noticed a the 'Exec Limits' option in the 'General Settings' menu.
It was set at 2! That means that every day when the cron job went off the script was limited to updating 2 posts.
I just changed it to 300 (I have over 100 blogs) and everything appears to be running smoothly.
Warning don't change this setting if you set your cron jobs to go off every minute, you'll crash your server!
Hope this helps some of you out there. |
