When I make a new blog entry and submit it I often see visits from places like technorati shortly after.
However, I dont see the same kind of activity for scheduled posts. Do scheduled posts send out a ping?
Also how about resubmitted posts, do they automatically send out pings?
Is it in my interest to add as many ping sites as possible to the BO ping list database or am I duplicating / adding information that wont provide any or little benefit? |

hi there,
yeah the scheduled and resubmitted posts should be pinged too.
well, the more different sites/services for pinging the better, but just make sure you don't add sites which when pinged result in pinging more sites. Like if you ping pongomatic it pings about 20 more services and if BO pings them, it gets twice or triple and that might result in bad results..
