Does this mean I have too many blogs for my server to update every 24 hours?

I only have about 800 right now.

Thanks

i need more info to answer your question..

800 what? blogs or feeds?

also what are your typical rss feeding settings? - how much feeds assigned to a blog, how frequent to post and number of posts per crawl?

all depends on that..

plus some feeds might not have any new posts that are not published on the blogs and thats why the blogs don't get updated...

800 blogs.

typical setting is 1 feed per blog, with 10 new "posts" every 1440 minutes.

The feeds have 500 postings per, so after 2 days they should still be updating.

I am using the same feeds for more than one blog: my total number of RSS feeds is 303.

thanks

all looks fine except the 10 new posts per crawl. Why do you publish 10 new posts a day? Thats way too much and completely unnecessary..

anways.. are you sure the blogs that don't update anymore have depleted the feed assigned to them? If you post 10 posts a day, after 50 days the feed with 500 posts gets depleted.. So do those blogs have 500+ posts already?

I understand the math. Smile No, the blogs have only been built for a day.
I made 40 blogs per day for the last week.
so the feeds have a lot of posts left, I know because I have been using the same feeds on past blogs, and I know how many posts are in each feed.

Could the 10 posts be the problem? I did that thinking it would make a better blog.

thanks

btw, we are talking about BO blogs, right? not remote blogs?

i publish a post once every week to my blogs Smile
publishing that much like you is just wasting of content, won't bring you more traffic or visitors..

pm me url and pass to your BO to take a look whats up exactly..
