htaccess rewrites don't work

I can see the mainpage, but no other pages works.. they just 404..
Looks like htaccess rewrites don't work. Don't think it's host problem because I run .htaccess files smoothly in other domains.
I tried adding
Options -MultiViews
SecFilterEngine off
but nothing happens. However I can open the cat pages with http://blogurl.com/cat.php?cat=CATEGORY

well, it depends what rewrites you have in the htaccess at the other domains.
From the details you provided it looks like server problem, because all rest things work. Better ask the host support look at it and tell you why exactly those rewrites don't work

Well thanks
The guys from my server fix the issue, now BO is generating post pages and cat pages as well. However the categories pages don't show the css style. Why????

well, look at the template source code. If you have put the css in external file, it needs to be with absolute url, otherwise it will get broken in the category pages, since they are subdirectories..
