Is there any reason why there's a max amount of posts BO keeps per blog? I know it can be changed but will a bunch of blogs with unlimited post enabled cause stress on my server?
Also can you (Kaktusan) give me an idea of what kind of server is needed for a certain amount of blogs? I think you said that you have 400 blogs running, what kind of server is running that BO installation?
I'm just trying to figure out at what point I would need to upgrade my server or get another one.

there isn't a limit on the posts. You probably mistake the feature about how much posts to display per page. Thats not limitation..
Anyways in the new version i will release soon, there will be prunning feature, to delete old posts, since pretty old posts just stress the server and don't bring any benefits, because SEs don't like old content and don't rank it good.
Yeah, i have 400+ blogs and server works smooth, can't feel any signifficant load. I am on P4 3GHz, 1GB RAM

| Thanks, I was actually thinking of "Archive Pages:". I figured after 10 (archived pages) or so pages the post were removed, whatever number you set. So the post would stay but there would only be 10 archived pages? |

yes, posts still stay, just on your blog there are 10 archived pages to browse through..
