| Hi, I haven't actually created new blogs with bo in awhile.. now getting back into it... When I go to create a new blog, it says at the top left hand corner "cannot create feed file" but it goes ahead and lets me upload the blog etc. When i go to the blog, it is not there. I also attempt to go to mydomain.com/bo/boblogs/blog#.php and I do not find anything... What could I be doing wrong? |

the permissions of the folders like boblogs, bofeeds.. are wrong.. they need to be 777 or 755 according to your server setup

| Okay, i fixed that.. I manually uploaded all the files into the blog and it showed up.. I have to manually do it though... when I go to automatically upload all files via ftp it says it did it successfully but when I look they are not there. I was able to automatically upload them before.. what could be wrong? it would take forever to have to manually upload the files to each blog i create. thanks. |

Kaktusan replied to my Netpond PM last night and I gave him my url to BO and I have not had a reply back yet. I sent PMs from this forum as well.
Please respond, the installation seemed to go right and I have watched the video tutorials and I cannot figure out what is wrong.

probably the /boblogs/botemp/ folder and anything inside is not 777

| okay now I changed everything under the bo directory to 777, the files were actually uploaded but now I get a 500 internal server error. This was working fine a few months ago. |

| I've been testing with different permissions... When I change EVERYTHING under the bo directory (including hte directory itself) to 755 blogs organizer won't even run... I changed everything back to 755 now it will upload, just gives me a server error when I go to the blog. When I try to find the blog it created under the directory /bo/boblogs/blog#.php it gives me the error as well... so the blog doesn't show up that way. |

you are mixing up the permissions pretty much. best would be to pm me url and pass to your BO and ftp access as well, and i will go fix the things.
that would be quickest for both of us
