Yes, of course I've read that, but it does not deal with the specific issue of CCBill links, nor how to tell affiliates to link to my rss feed only, not to the blog itself.
Further, since the ccbill codes are a two part code
?ca=XXXXXX-XXXX&pa=XXXXXXX i am not sure where to put your {AFF} anchor nor, whether to put the entire two part code or just the first.
Also, in the config file I am not sure what to use as a default_aff_id in this situation. Would I put the first part of the ccbill code XXXXXX-XXXX&pa={AFF} in that config file? Would I put the entire CCBill affiliate URL up to the "=" sign in that same URL ? (http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?ca=XXXXXX-XXXX&pa={AFF} ) ?
I understand if i have affiliates link to the blog itself the linking would be
http://www.doman.com/?aff=AFFILIATE_ID
But what about linking directly to the RSS feed for this blog..which is what we want to use as the affiliate RSS feed for our site. would i link like this:
http://www.domain.com/?{AFF}&feed=rss2 ?
Since CCBill uses target URL's as an argument on the end of it's affiliate code URL how would I implement linking to the feed in this instance?
Typical CCbill linking code without specifying the target URL (user goes to home page)
http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?ca=XXXXXX-XXXX&pa=XXXXXX
If I want to link to a specific page in the site tour I would add an argumenton the end of this URL so that it is written as:
http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?ca=XXXXXX-XXXX&pa=XXXXXX&HTML=http://www.domain.com/page.html
So would I tell an affiliate to link to my feed with the following:
http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?ca=XXXXXX-XXXX&pa=XXXXXX&HTML=http://www.domain.com/?{AFF}&feed=rss2
These questions are not addressed in your previous "how to" post and I would very much appreciate your help on this.
Thanks |

I wrote a lot last time..and perhaps this part got missed.
What do I put in the config file in this instance? |

in the config file put default affiliate id to be used by BO if for example some regular surfer comes from Google directly to the blog. BO will use the default affiliate id in the config file to track sales under that.
Just put yours for example affiliate id, like: 123456 _________________ Thanks,
