Hi.
On internet explorer one of my blog rss feed does not work. It shows: feed code error. I changed utf-8 to iso-8859-1 by going to /bo/bofeeds and its fine now. but isnt there any other solution to this? |

IE is regularly giving such problems with any kind of feeds, not just BO ones. Its because malformed certain characters inside the posts. I am not familiar with any fix, unless you have to dig out which character is that and fix it _________________ Thanks,

Its too complicating too fix text. When i try to fix, it is still the same. I better change utf-8 to iso-8859-1 on blog, sometimes rss starts working but if not i change it on /bo/bofeeds
Just one thing - when i change rss feed from basic to advanced, iso-8859-1 becomes utf-8 again. But if i won't do this, wouldn't it be any chance that rss feed source would be changed in some other way? Like while updating the post? |

well, yes, feed source is changed each time the blog is rebuilded, when new post is added and etc..
anyways, you shouldn't be worried much about IE not opening the feeds. People don't use browsers to view feeds as web pages, they mainly add them to their rss reader programs and they are displaying the feeds content properly. _________________ Thanks,
