I was wondering of there was a way to have a link for the RSS feeds in the side bar and NOT have the posts in the main area? I was able to add the link for the RSS in a side bar but how do I remove the main body posts AND not have the updated feeds post while keeping the link in the side bar active?

At the moment I have added a link to the feeds in a side bar. Which means when people open it their browser opens the feeds.

So I cannot remove the feeds from the post body and still keep the link in the side bar?

Ultimately I would love to just get the feed title on the blogs main page in a side bar and when it's clicked the surfer goes to a page within the site to view it. At the same time leaving the main body open for manual posts. Or control a combination of the two.

For SEO purposes it's better to have unquie posts as opposed to the same blog posts as everyone else who's using the same feeds.

well, no matter how you display the feeds, that won't make them unique. To make unique you need to rewrite their content somehow.

I understand that. I meant I wanted to make the posts in the body myself so they would be unique and have the feed title in a side bar as something extra on the site. If those feed title links could actually link to a page on my site even better, but not necessary.

Like I said, at the moment I have the feed link in the side bar and when someone clicks it they open a browser window with the feeds. The question at the moment is can I keep that link in the side bar and NOT have feeds populate the main body?

yep, ok.

no, i don't think you can have that if you use BO to read the feeds. If you want to have the links in the sidebars the way you need them, you might wanna try to find some script to do that and you can use it within the BO template - it allows php code inside..
