Hi,
I just got blog automater. I have installed it and added sponsor feeds. When I try to add several different blogs the same thing happens:
I get a blank white page. I have to go back to the main admin url and refresh my browser to get to the admin area.
What am I doing wrong. One last thing, when I got to verify the blog url, I get this message:
The normal output is a text like "XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only." or something close to that.
If the output is blank there is something wrong! Either you have specified wrong url or there is a problem at your blog script.
OUTPUT:
XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.
Does that mean anything?

something in your install is not fine.. probably a file is corrupted or something.. best would be to pm me url and pass to your BA admin so i can see exactly the problem..

Same issue here with the free version. I downloaded for test today and attempted to connect (verify) to my one of my WP MU Blogs.
PHP v. 5.2.5
The workaround code added to xmlrpc.php for the error which occured using php 5.2.2. is in place, and i just had my hosting co. hostgator add
SecFilterEngine off to the htacces file. Still no luck. : (.
I will keep up on this post to see what happens.

When I set up the script, I did notice that it did say that php curl library was not installed. I am waiting for my host to add that for me.
I will let you know if that solves the problem or not. I tried to re upload the template folder but that didn't work. |

| I got php curl library and curl library support installed by host and it solved the problem. |

hmm. just spoke to support at hostgator. I ran a cmd per them and verified curl:
"cURL support => enabled
cURL Information => libcurl/7.18.0 OpenSSL/0.9.7a zlib/1.2.3 libidn/0.5.6"
Upon install i got all OK's however so not surprised on this.
Still not working as of now.
Apparently per the first message of the thread, the message IS the 'normal output'.

I am sure if this helps but there is a curl library and php has to support the curl library.
I would also considering pm Atanasis. I hope that helps. |

I forgot i already downloaded the "updated" version of xmlrpc.php. I have provided the link again below to the post with the file URL.
I recieved a reply fm support advising this fix, and installed the new updated wp xmlrpc file. it seems to work now although the first attempt failed, then i left off the "http" and it succeeded in locating the blog.
