We have BO setup. Created a Regular Blog. It posts fine. When we setup the regular blog as an RSS Feed to our Remote Blog it doesn't work. However, we also setup some third party RSS Feeds to post to our Remote blogs and they are working fine.
Systems Events shows the events are being executed at 1 min intervals as you suggested.
We are stumped.

so, you build a regular blog and use its rss feed to feed a remote blog? Did i understand it correct?
i don't see any problems with that as whole and it should work fine.
maybe you can pm me url and pass to your BO admin and tell me the blogs urls and i can take a look if something is wrong..

We determine the problem was how i was writing the regular blog. I was cutting and pasting code from word press directly. It looks like WP was generating a specail character for blank spaces (you couldn't see when pasted). But when you posted to the regular blog it would show up. The RSS feeder would run and then blow up when it saw that character.
Found that if i copy the text from the WP and paste using the Paste Using Plain Text Button. Then use the clean up messy code button the problem appears to be solved. |
