Hello,
I've added some blogs from thumblogger and blogger.com. This is easy and works fine. How do I add blogs from other free hosts ? I've tried blogstream.com, but I have problems.
I think, I have to choose "blog type" API 1 or API 2 (which one ?) and I need the api-URL. Or I choose wordpress-blog and I need xmlrpc. I've tried with http://meintagheute.blogstream.com, but there is no api or xmlrpc.php, I mean Url.api or URl.xmlrpc.php isn't working.
Do I have to find out the "working URLs" (I mean the url to the script file that handles the remote blogging functions) for every free blog host by myself ?
Or do you have a list which free blog hosts (besides the ones on the "add blogs" page) work with ba and have the right urls ? |

well, you need to see if the free host service has remote blog administration. either look for remote api settings, or just ask their support.
Most free hosts use WPMU, so you won't have any problems adding your blogs as Wordpress MU or Wordpress blogs.
no, i don't have a list with all free hosts that work with BA. 90% of the hosts should work since they either use wpmu or other system that works with blogger api.

hmm, I've tried wordpress.com and I get this message : Blog Returned: Sorry, you do not have access to user data on this blog.
(It was the right username and password) |

well, probably the login is not granted access to use those functions. either try to edit the user in the WP interface and give him rights, i think it was needed to be administrator or something like that, or just use the admin user/pass. Best for remote blogging is to use the admin login
