I set up one of my WP blogs in BO, no problem, but I have a couple of Qs.
1. The first post I made got "double posted", ie it actually got posted twice on the remote blog. The second post I made just appeared once as it should. Has this been known to happen or was it just a freak glitch somewhere?
2. Like most people with WP blogs, mine have several categories. The posts I made with WP got posted in "uncategorized". I don't suppose there's a way of defining which category I want the post to go? |

hi there,
i am not aware of anyone else having his first post to remote blog appear twice, so either there is some glitch that happened in your case, or either something you did caused that.
About your second question, i am not aware of a way to specify the post category in a remote xml-rpc query as what the remote blogs accept. So i don't know about this matter at all. If you can ask the WP support if this is possible or if there is some workaround, i would be glad to hear it and develop it if possible.

| Ok thanks. The double-post was probably just a glitch. I'll see if I can find anything about posting to remote categories on WP. |
