Hi Kaktusan, For some reason one of my blogs is showing a tag for a word that isn't in any post but it is in the master list.
Right below the master keywords it says...

Put in here keywords comma separated, no new lines.
This is optional! Only fill if you want the script to scan all posts and assign tags if it finds any of these keywords in them

So if a master keyword is not in a post it should not show up right? |

hmm, you sure the keyword isn't found in your post?
the keywords from the master list, are used to search for them in all the posts the blog contains and if any post contain any of the keywords it gets in the tagcloud

| I think I figured out where it's pulling the words from. One word is from the alternative text for a pic. A few words are coming from the domains I'm linking to. Another word is coming from my domain name that BO is installed on. Another word "hot" is coming from the word "hottie". I think i was able to find them all when I searched for the words that way. I thought they actually had to be words in the post... But I guess that's it. |

modify the to include the tagword. Example: Tagword at DomainXXX .
This will help SEO for the tag pages as well as helping the visitors. |

yes, currently it scans the whole body, including any html tags like links, alt for images and etc..
for next version i will make it exclude that, so it will scan only in text

| I deleted the old files and uploaded the new files (bo 3.5). The blog displays normal but at the place where the tags should be I get an 'Internal Server Error'. I already tried all kind of permissions but none worked. |

hm, yeah.. i checked my code and looks like i forgot to make the script chmod the tagcloud files as the rest of the blog. That was the problem
fixed your stuff.
anyone else having the problem, just download the upgrader package again from the site, and upload only file: bofuncs-misc.php
and then rebuild the tagclouds..

I thought it wouldn't be necessary for the tagcloud was build before the blog. But OK I've just done it and the tag pages were created, but WITHOUT the css style (the css file is in the same directory of all the blog files)

which tagcloud sources? do you mean the "Recognition settings". They are clearly explained i think with this paragraph:
You currently have 3 options to determine tags. The first one is by "Master Keywords List" which you define by yourself in a field below. The second one is by the "Post Keywords" - the keywords you enter when adding your posts will be used for tags. And the third option is the post's categories extracted from RSS Feeds - they will be used as tags.

i just tested to blacklist couple of tags in my tagclouds and all went fine.. PM me url and pass to your BO admin to take a look..
