Well, I have just doublechecked and I did have linkchecker enabled in my settings.
I will ask my host support people why that cron doesn't run and whether I have PHP Curl Library enabled.

Well, I just woke up and found out that my blog had been populated with a lot of new posts. So, that seems to be ok then.
My mistake was that I thought that the 'regenerate' link would trigger this ... |

I have added 3 rss feeds at RSS Feeders > Add
Then I have selected all 3 at Blogs > Manage Blogs
Finally, once saved my settings, I have clicked on Regenerate, but the results from the 3 feeds ... |
