Hah! Your idea was dead on. I just went into the PhpMyadmin and gave that particular user all privileges.
I then ran the script and it upgraded just fine.

Upgraded from 1.6 or so to 1.7 on one site, and no problem.
Tried it on the next site and the lo-upgrade script says

Well, so far the feed doesn't even show up in the blog
I set the crawl period to 1 minute in BO, and nothing is changing.
Usually if I add a new feed to BO, the new one shows up right away ...

since to be able to see stats you will need to make your affiliates use the new feed urls. Also i don't think it will be able to swtich affiliate id's since FO is made for regular feeds and without a ...
